The end of part one of the journey

Unfortunately my time has run out and I am now off trail. I have made my way back to Oslo ready to fly back to New Zealand before my visa expires.

While I did not finish the whole journey as I would have liked I did meet my revised goal of 2000km and do intend to return to finish my Norge Pa Langs.

I will work on finishing my blog and videos over the next week and will write a summary of the journey as well.

As a teaser for the summary I can say that I feel really happy with what I achieved and what the trail gave me. I was looking for a break from responsibility and people by living and walking in a rugggard, wild, beautiful and isolated environment and Norway certainly delivered. While there were some similarities it was a wilderness and beauty different from New Zealand. I was humbled to be in the wilderness that is a much bigger scale than I am used to.

While I am sad to be leaving I am taking some amazing memories of the nature and people of Norway.

I will be planning to return in July of 2020 to finish Norge Pa Langs.
